After joining my wife's cousin in working on the family tree, I noted how
many Buttenhauser families are represented on the Family Tree of the Jewish
People at JewishGen, & another on the xxxxx genealogy site, each of them
interrelated by marriage. I wonder if any of the Buttenhauser researchers
have ever considered joining forces to create one tree for the town? If
anyone else has done this for their town, please contact me and talk about
the practical issues of doing such a project. The two surnames >from which
my wife comes are MARX & LIEBMAN. The surnames that married in are as
follows (some came >from other nearby cities): OETTINGER, LANDAUER,
TANNHAUSER, LEVI, EINSTEIN, LOEWENTHAL, HOFFHEIMER, HIRSCH, HILB,
FLEGENHEIMER, DEGGINGER, STERN, BERLINGER, KELLER, SPIRO, ROTHSCHILD,
BLOCH, ROHRBACHER, BAER...
