In the past, I have posted that there's a way to order new German books that
avoids the high shipping charges charged by the web's most visible online
source of books. The source to which I refer charges postage only >from
their location in the mainland US.

As far as out-of-print German books go, there is a commercial URL that
serves as a major clearing house for used books in German & I can supply
that as well. They have recently added an English interface, though not all
the book descriptions are in English.
