The May 1939 "Jewish census" is a useful place to start. This is available
through any Mormon Family History library. I checked and found 27 persons
with that name in Breslau and 3 in Hamburg. These registrations permit you
to see who lived with whom, their education and Jewish ancestry. The
Mormons also have extensive Breslau birth/marriage/death records going back
to the 19th century. At the library simply type in Germany, then Silesia,
then Breslau and finally Jewish records. For Berlin type in Germany,
Prussia, Berlin and Jewish records. You then order the relevant film.
