The Hebrew for Ezekiel starts with a "yud" ; so someone transliterating
the name >from the Hebrew would spell it something like Yechezkel.
Also, I have just learned that the first Orthodox Rabbi's manual, named
"Ha Madrikh" (I think) is supposed to have a wonderful section at the end
including Hebrew and Yiddish names. I am looking for a copy with the
names which seems to be out-of-print. Others, or society libraries may
be interested in obtaining or photocopying that section. Jonina Duker:
