1) How long the families have been in Ebelsbach? 2) what was their business?
3) is there any archives available to search as more than likely the
registration of births, deaths and marriages would not be recorded yet
centrally? 4) Was there a synagogue and is it still there?
I would suggest that you persevere as doing the exact same as you did, I
received a very good response >from Bavaria 8 or 9 years ago.

You would need to find the cemetery where Jews in the area were buried and
then obtain the cemetery list. [JewishGen offers two Cemetery Data Bases:
JOBR and IAJGS Cemetery Registry. MOD]

You also need to find the list of Jewish births, marriages and deaths.

I have recently obtained eg the marriage list for Wallerstein for 1820 to
1880. I can't speak about the area of Ebelsbach.

Therefore you need to identify the rabbinate which covered the area of
Ebelsbach (Wallerstein covered all the surrounding towns and villages).

It is also possible that you had relations that were left behind in Ebelsbach.

There is a paragraph in German about the Jews of Ebelsbach in|423.674

about the Jews in Ebelsbach (in English).
says that the Limbach cemetery received the burials >from Ebelsbach >from 1714
(not precise translation).
