The former archivist in the Bielefeld City archives Monika Minninger has
published a volume with more than 100 original sources and many
illustrations on the history of Bielefeld Jews in the 19th and 20th
century under the title

Aus einer Hochburg des Reformjudentums: Quellensammlung zum Bielefelder
Judentum des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts. By Monika Minninger: Bielefeld:
Verlag fuer Regionalgeschichte, 2006 (Sonderveroeffentlichung des
Historischen Vereins für die Grafschaft Ravensburg, 11). 241 pages with
an index of names and places. ISBN 3-89534-611-X. 19 Euro.

It also contains a list of 39 male Jews who lived in Bielefeld in 1812
and many biographies of local families.
