I am searching for my mothers "biological" birth family (last name Kain or Kane). She was born in Galati, Romania in 1934 - and was the youngest of about 9 or 10 siblings. She was adopted soon after birth. She was known as Mutzi Cohn in Galati. Later, she moved to Israel - where she became "Lichtenberg" (later Lior). I need help finding her family. Does anyone know if there would be a record of her birth/adoption somewhere? She has nothing - no papers and no one to help her (her mother recently died and she has no other family).
