JewishGen Discussion Group #JewishGen Re: Berlin / Bevis Marks Records #general

I would agree with looking for the Jacob Jacobson publications. The
Family History Library has it, other libraries too. I found my paternal
great grandmother's family QUIATOWSKY here going back two more
generations, giving me two more female lines and towns to search. All
other searches for this name have been negative. Just remember it is a
secondary source. I was able to confirm the information re: my family
in other records. The book lists many names, and cross references sons
with fathers and widowed mothers, and also the marriages of daughters.
There are archived messages in JewishGen and GerSIG re: the books,
including the FHL call numbers.

Thank you for all the responses about my questions about Bevis Marks.
