Would anybody have information on Olga (née FRANKL) KASTNER & her son
Oskar: b: 01 November 1917 Duernback, district Oberwart, Burgenland
(E. of Vienna), Austria?

She married Gustav "Gus" KASTNER, on Oct. 25, 1936, in Vienna, Austria.

They had a son Oskar Kastner, who was born on August 30, 1936, in Vienna.

Records show that, in 1936, this family was living at:
2nd District, Praterstrasse, Vienna

Gustav worked in a (grocery?) store in Vienna at that time.

In 1938, when Hitler overran Austria, Gustav was deported to Dachau,
along with his brother Max Kastner. They were later released, and both
came to Montreal, Canada.

Records show the following details on Olga & Oskar, after 1938:

19 February 1941 Olga & Oskar (both living at Schreigasse , Wien 2)
were deported to the Kielce, Poland, Ghetto.
(The Kielce Ghetto was liquidated & most inhabitants sent to Treblinka,
between Aug. 20-24, 1942.)

Gustav's daughter, >from his 2nd marriage (in Canada), would be grateful
to have more information on the brother, whom she never knew - Oskar,
and on his mother, as well. Plus any further information on Gustav.

Please contact me, if you can help her:
