My late grandfather, Alfred STERN, was a distant relative of Fernand
LEVY of Chauvigny, Vienne, France.

Reuben LEVY, who was a lecturer in Persian at Christ's College,
Cambridge, UK, was a relative by marriage. I do not know if he is
of the same LEVY family. He died in 1966 and his first wife was
Flora, born HERZ.

My grandfather also has the name W HERZ in his
old address book with the address of Colorprint Ltd in the Holloway
Road, North London, UK.

The HERZ family was originally of Kochendorf, now Bad Friedrichshall,
Baden Wuerttemberg. The English branch was descended >from Max HERZ and
also contains a Justin HERZ who served in the First World War.

If anyone knows of these LEVY/HERZ families, would they please contact me
privately.
