I found a bunch of Bordowicz (family I am researching) who came on two
ships, arriving in NY 4 days apart, in 1920. A few were naturalized
citizens, who were obviously going back to bring relatives to the U.S.
The group was about 20 people, over the two ships.
The interesting part is that both ships had children named Dawid (age 15),
Iser (age 10) and Jacob (age 6). Now common first names are no surprise
but I can't believe that the ages for all three were exactly the same. I
assume that someone had paperwork of some sort for the kids, and had
duplicates made to bring three other children over.
Anyone have a similar experience or have an alternate explanation?
