Recently, there has appeared in this digest comments by several people
as to the lack of cooperation they find among their relatives in their
genealogy searching. While I have experienced some of the same
experience---the son of a cousing who went "quiet" after we spoke and I
had sent him a copy of our tree, and a nephew too busy to acquire a
death certificate >from his home town. *But*, I have also experienced the
pleasure of working with two "strangers", each of whom went out of their
way to photograph stones at a cemetery. With the coordinator's
permission, I would like to publically acknowledge Jeffrey Richards and
wife and Edward J. Cabana.
Like Blanche DuBois, I have come to depend on the kindness of strangers!
