I would like to to say thank you to all the members who have responded to my requests regarding the ETTINGHAUSENs. Their help was extremely useful.
I would like to express my thanks and admiration to Werner Hirsch on his description and movie about the reunion in Aschaffenburg. It so happens that my grandparents lived in Aschaffenburg and my mother and her sibling were born there. I used to visit there and remember the Synagogue real well.
My uncle Otto STERN (after whom I am named) fell in the first world war and his name is on the memorial to Jewish solders in Aschaffenburg. Gersig is a great program and I am a dilliigend reader.
