The Jewish Genealogical Society of Broward County, Florida is pleased to
invite you to our next meeting
Wednesday May 29th at 7:30 PM at the
Posnack Jewish Community Center
5850 South Pine Island Road (corner of Stirling Road)
You've had them for years - since you were born. You carry them everywhere
you go and share them with your children. But do you ever really think of
them at all? They are your GENES, the essence of what makes you you!
Now, you'll have a chance to find out more about these hidden controllers
that dominate so much of your life.
Dr. Grady Campbell, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at Nova Southeastern
University, will discuss genes and genealogy at this meeting. He will
discuss two aspects of genetics and how they can affect you and your search
for your roots.
Join us on May 29th for an enlightening session about genes and how they
affect your everyday life. Discover what DNA testing can and cannot do to
help track your ancestors and confirm relationships
Admission is free. We welcome all members and non-members to join us for a
fascinating and informative evening.
