I have just finished digitizing a brief list, 197 names, of Germans who
perished in the Gross Rosen concentration camp. This material has been sent
to Jewishgen and will be available there.
There is no indication on the list as to why these persons had been sent to
Gross Rosen and my "eyeball" test would indicate that most were not Jews.
I note that the Gedenkbuch only includes Jews and my question is whether
anyone knows of a German database--either for all of Germany or particular
cities--where Holocaust deaths of non-Jews or persons whose status cannot be
