JewishGen Discussion Group #JewishGen Help: New Haven Directories 1910 #general

Iffersas7@...

Wednesday I was researching my family in the New Haven directories >from
1897-1935.

Many things are abbreviated and there was not a key in any books to explain
what these abbreviations meant.

I hope someone can help me.

Saslafsky, Samuel (Leah) cattle 56 Arch Street h do

Can someone tell me what h do means?

Izzo, Antonio emp w Haven Buckle Co. bds r 20 Palmer

I also don't know what bds stands for?

Komasar, Rubin emp (330) 67 Church, 105 Greenwood

(330) I'm not sure what this means either.

I'm not sure if Directories are the same town by town but I hope someone
could help me out.

Thank You For your Time,
