JewishGen Discussion Group #JewishGen Re: Shanghai family PIASETSKY #general

Carlos Glikson

Hello Paul and group.
when did they come to Shanghai, after the end of World War I,
or later? Are there records of the Shanghai community extant
anywhere?
There have been previous exchanges re. the Jewish community in
Shanghai, both as an escape route East during WW II and as a
residence for some time.

I am not looking now and I do not know if you will find the specific
answer to your questions there, but I suggest - if you have not
already done so - that you query the JewishGen discussion group
messages database or the SIGs messages database, keyword Shanghai,
for background information and for interested researchers.

Best wishes,
