I am seeking to contact anyone researching or connected with the surname
Nudelman in the St. Louis area, probably "Russian".
My specific person of interest is "Mary" Nudelman b. abt 1875, "Russia", d.
1956, St. Louis. >from what I know now, she married second to "Adolph"
Lentzner b. about 1872. According to a grandson >from her first marriage Mary
was pregnant with her third or fourth child when her first husband was
killed during a robbery. This would include Hilda (1898), Sherly (1902) and
Beatrice (1903). With Adolph she had Milford (1907) and Juanita (1913) who
might have also been Sarah/Zelda. All children were supposedly born in MO.
In 1911 when apparently this Adolph escorted his "niece" (my great
grandmother's oldest child), Bertha/Brucha (Lieberman) "Lentzner", his
address was given as 512 Franklin Ave., St. Louis, MO. They are listed in
the 1920 census for St. Louis where Adolph is a Polish speaking "Russian"
and Mary is a Russian speaking "Russian". According to the grandson, the
family shortly thereafter moved to the Long Beach, CA area. Apparently this
is where Adolph may have died in 1922. The grandson said he was in the
diamond business. Additionally that a 14-y-o Milford did most of the driving
on the trip to CA.
At some point, Mary returned to St. Louis where she died in 1956 (the same
year, the grandson married). Ther grandson indicated there were a number of
Nudelman relatives in the St. Louis area.
I did check the surname list and did not find anyone seeking Nudelman from
St. Louis in particular. And as of yet I do not know where in "Russia" Mary
