Whilst your local Mormon FHC may not have its own copy, you can order
one >from Salt Lake City. This may be preferable to getting someone else to
do a look-up as you are probably more familiar with the family name and
any spelling variants used by the family. The rental fee for a microfilm
is usually only about $4.00 for a month.

In doing family research, I found something quite unexpected perhaps a
family member? who lived in Los Angeles (according to 1930 census).
a) How would I access city directory for LA during that time period. My
family history center does not have them and b) Is there anyone on this
listserv >from LA who knows some background about streets and districts?
