Dear Group-

My ggparents are buried in the grounds of Anshe Sokolka of the Mt Carmel
Cemetary in Queens, NY. My ggf Isaac GOLDBERG was buried in 1928. His
wife Celia FELDMAN (born Kovno) was buried in 1932, and their son Milton(b
NYC), who died in WWI, was buried there in 1918.
I know it's not safe to assume anything in genealogy, but do you think
that be buried in that particular area could be an indication that Isaac
was >from Sokolka? When burials took place in certain "Grounds" was it a
rule of thumb that the buried were affiliated with that group or society?

Best regards,
