Iam searching for information about my ggf, Joshua
ASTRACHAN >from Borisov, Belarus. He was married to
Esther KLEBANOU and had nine children: four came to
the US (in about 1905-1912) named Israel (Izzy),
Mordichi (who eventually went to South America),
Nochim, and Rose; one went to Israel, Teivia, and four
remained in Russia, where they died: Ada, Chomi, Chia,
and Kopel.
I do not have any information about Joshua's parents
or siblings or what happened to the four children who
remained in Russia.
Is anyone able to provide me with any information
about Joshua and his family?
