My ggreatgrandmother travelled, as a widow with four children, from
Novarodok to the USA passing through Liverpool probably around 1860-1880. In
Liverpool she met and married a gentleman who we believe was single and
probably a goldsmith or silversmith (which was her trade in Novarodok). The
marriage took place either in England or the USA (in Connecticut where she
settled-New Haven ).

Does this story "ring a bell" with anyone, esoecially >from England.
