Dear Cousins,
I ask what is probably an impossible research favor of our British cousins.
I had a relative born Israel (Sruel) WOLINSKY c1845 in Boguslav (63 miles
SSE of Kiev.) I know that his parents and siblings moved to Odessa around
1898. At some point Israel immigrated to London, and owned an art gallery.
No one is sure whether he married or not, only that he was "a cruel
intellectual" and that he "sired many illegitimate children. He died in
London in 1936. I don't even know if he changed his name. I tried looking
him up on one of the British sites, but had no luck.
If anyone in London has nothing better to do on a rainy day...
