I was hoping that someone >from the DC/Maryland Beltway
line could help me with tracing the descendants of
Morris MILLER. Morris Miller opened a package store
just outside the DC line about 80 years ago. As DC
was dry, his store was very successful. I believe
that at one point there were several stores. Now
there's just the one on Alaska Avenue.
Morris died in the late 1960s. My grandfather, Joe
Golembe attended either the funeral or the unveiling.
Since that time the store has changed hands at least
twice. I called the store today and the current owner
was no help. My grandfather died in 1976 and we have
no idea how to get in touch with the Millers of DC.
Any help would be most appreciated. Of course, please
reply privately to s_wiener@....
TIA, [Thanks in advance],
