My great grandfather Joseph SHAFFER was
born in Przasnysz in 1881 -

on searching the Polish database I found 3
SHAFRAN families in the
JewishGen Yizkor Book Necrology database -

the book is

Memorial Book to the Community of Proshnitz, and has 3
SHAFRAN familiies (Feivish, Henech and Hersch)

This is interesting as my father believed the family name to have been
SHAFRON originally -

is there any other research I can do the verify the family/
find more out about these SHAFRAN families in Przasnysz?
