I am seeking information on the descendants of my g-g-grandfather's brother,
Aaron GRODSKY.

Aaron was born in Suwalki, Poland in 1861. He emigrated to the US in the 1880s
where he married Rose GOLDSMITH, who was born in Illinois. Aaron and Rose
settled in Cincinnati, Ohio where they raised their family of sons. Apparently,
at some point in time, the family changed their name >from GROSDKY to GROSS.

Aaron died in Brooklyn in 1934. His obituary in the New York Times had the
following headline, "Aaron GRODSKY GROSS, Cantor Emeritus of Isaac M. Wise Temple
in Cincinnati." The obituary stated that he was also a practicing dentist in
Cincinnati.

Aaron was survived by his wife and eight sons, Henry, Perry, Dr. Louis D. GROSS
who was editor of the Brooklyn Jewish Examiner; David H., Joseph M., Raphael,
Gordon, and Bert G. GROSS.

Aaron's son Henry was a Band/Orchestra Leader on the Keith Circuit using the name
Henry SANTREY. The 1910 US Census lists Gordon's given name as Gardel, and
Bert's given name as Barthol.

If anyone has any knowledge or information about this family, I would be
delighted to hear >from you.
