JewishGen Discussion Group #JewishGen Searching KIOSZE -- Lithuania and East Prussia (Tilsit) #general

Marx, Jonathan Schreiner <John@...>

Dear Genners:

I am looking for the KIOSZE family. Rare name! They were originally >from
Lithuania, possibly the village of Kiutsi about 128 kil. >from Vilna. The name
might originally have been Kiotsinsky. But as they went into East Prussia, the
insky may have been dropped. My great-grandfather was Michael Kiosze. He died in
Dusseldorf or Essen of double pneumonia in 1911-12. Younger brother was David
Kiosze. Anybody with KIOSZE names in their families, please contact me. They lived
near Alt-Strehmenen near Tilsit by the Memel (or Niemen) river right on the
border.

Thanks
