I have a portrait of one of my ancestors wearing a very interesting
hat. I am told it is a Bavarian school master's hat. I was wondering
if anyone can tell me about this hat. He also has on a very interesting
tie and pin. I am wondering if they too are part of what Bavarian
school masters wear.
