Program: S.O.S. - Share our Successes
Four members who have had success in their areas of research will share their
stories and expertise. Alfred M Silberfeld, Dr. Marvin Hamburg, Dorothy Bernstein
and Sandra Zahn-Oreck will speak of their latest accomplishments in the field of
genealogical research and the methods they used to obtain them. Come learn how
perseverance, solid research techniques and a little bit of luck can get you past
the brick wall.

Calendar of April Events:
Wednesday Mornings: JGSPBCI Library Orientation (April 6-May 18)
Irv Skorka, Library Liaison Chairman, will be on hand to introduce the valuable
resource material in our Genealogical Library in the Sandler Building, J.C.C, Boca
Raton. Three computers and a printer are available for internet searches.
Sessions will be held >from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Due to space limitations,
attendance will be limited to 5 people each session. To make your reservation

Special Interest Group Meetings: (SIGS)
Important: (Please note: A SIG meeting will not be held at the Civic Center on
April 13 (the monthly meeting). The Galicia and Romania - Hungary SIGS will meet
as planned on May 11 at the Civic Center, at 11:30 AM, prior to the monthly
meeting..
Two SIG meetings will be held in April at the JGSPBCI Genealogical Library,
April 5: Tuesday, 1 PM, Litvak SIG member's queries will be addressed
regarding their Lithuanian shtetl of interest by member Arnold Tolkin who will
share his expertise gathered >from his visits to those Lithuanian shtetlach.

April 6, Wednesday, 1 PM Romania/Hungarian SIG, JGSPBCI Genealogical Library.
Following an orientation by Irv Skorka about the materials available in our
collection, Mona Morris, JGSPBCI President Emerita, will share material >from her
recent visit to Romania.

Aventura, Florida.
JGSPBCI is proud to co-sponsor the visit of internationally acclaimed genealogist
Yale Reisner. Arrangements are being made to attend this lecture as a group.
