I have recently been researching the WWI draft registration cards.
Can I use the birthdate information on the card as a primary source?
The censuses only estimate birth years and change with each census.
(very frustrating to say the least). My maternal grandfather's marriage
license >from Chicago in 1910 gives a different age and birthyear altogether.
Which is probably more accurate - registration card or the marriage license?
Homewood, Illinois (suburb of Chicago)
