My name is Mark James and I live in Vancouver , Canada.
My wife Alana converted to Judaism 20 years ago . We have 4 children who are now
all teenagers. It has recently come to our attention that Ali's maternal
grandmother may have been Jewish. I was hoping that someone in your department
could help me or if not at least direct me to someone who could.
The information that I have is as follows

Anne Margrethe MEYER
born June 7 1907
adopted around 3 years old
parents Ingeborg( nee Otto) died 1921 and Ernst Meyer died 1932... we think its
possible that the Meyer's had a daughter born prior to Anne's adoption who had
died at a very young age.
Ingeborg had a sister named Helge KORNBECK ( nee otto) who died 1942, we think
that they possibly had 2 children a girl and boy born late 1800's Anne married a
Ernst William LEVYSOHN in a civil service on April 25 1931 , he was born feb 28
1886... we are certain that Levysohn was Jewish. any help that you can offer would
be greatly appreciated as this is a very important matter to our family
