I have hit the proverbial 'brick wall' in trying to trace the LANDAU roots of my family. My great grandmother, Katie Paulina Landau was born in 1879 in the Brest area. Her father was Hirsel Landau (DOB unknown- Wife Unknown) probably >from the same area. Have tried everything that a genealogical novice like myself can do and would greatly appreciate it if anybody tracing a LANDAU tree could inform me if they appear in it somewhere.
