I have just found this very interesting auction catalogue of Anglo-Judaica.

It contains a lot of memorabilia about individual synagogues - for instance
the seatholders in 1892 of my grandfather's synagogue.

If anyone was doing research on indidivual synagogues looking at this list
might give them an idea of the existence of the documents in question.

I recognise that these might now either be in archives or private
collections.
