In 1904, when the Mr Wissotzky died, my relative ran the
Moscow branch or the entire Tea company and then he disappeared around
1914. I am unclear of the surname although I believe it was
Gosman/Gasman. Any ideas?
There is an Israeli website for Wissotzky Tea, including history of the
Klonimus Wolf Wissotzky who founded company in Moscow in 1849.

http://www.wtea.com/

It says that "After the October Revolution of 1917 the Wissotzky family
members fled to Paris, while the activities in London and in Poland were
continued by the Seidler family".

Pephaps you should contact website people to establish history of the
company management in Russia during WWI.
