I'd like to thank all those who responded with very
interesting, if harrowing, details of how food was sent to
Terezin >from 'outside'.

Especially thanks to those who experienced the situation
themselves and described their sufferings.

With much of the world oversupplied with food, we may not
always realise how a small food package can make a
difference between life and death.

I have a letter >from a cousin of my grandmother Yetti
Schroetter, which documents the food packages he sent her
while she was in Theresienstadt and contains her responses
and thanks. He survived the war in Vienna, but she perished
in July of 1944.
