The city archives of Nuremberg has its "Index of births/marriages/deaths
1810-1979" online.

Before using the database you will need to register at this URL,

http://www.genteam.at/index.php?option=com_user&view=register&lang=en&Itemid=

Language selection (German and English) is at top right.

Then you log in.
The URL for the "Index of births/marriages/deaths 1810-1979" is

http://www.genteam.at/index.php?option=com_nuernberg&view=all&Item=id=

The information that was sent on Bavarian Ancestors said if you want
further details on the person you find on the BMD database,you will have
to contact the city archives personally, and they do charge a fee.
