According to the Jewishgen FAQ:
"For a few regions of the country, comprehensive indexes to pre-1906
naturalization records were prepared by the WPA in the 1930s: New
England (all 6 states, 1790-1906) [LDS microfilms]. New York City
(all 5 boroughs, 1790-1906) [LDS microfilms]."
"These card indexes are at the National Archives, and are also
available on microfilm through all LDS Family History Centers."
Can anyone tell me which of the National Archives regional offices
the New England and NY indexes are available at?
Also, according to the FAQ: "Naturalization records >from most
Federal courts are now located at the National Archives regional
Does this mean the 1906 New England records are available at any NARA
regional office, or only the New England office?
Researching KREMENETSKY/KENNER and BECKERMAN >from Berezno/Kremenets/
Odessa, LITTMAN and KRAVIATSKY >from Proshnits, COHEN >from London/
Vilna, ARONSON and FRIEDMAN >from Kalvarija.
