I was before few years in the Weissensee cemetery to find the grave of
Before I go, I have win information what are the opening times for the
cemetery and also for the office.
This you must do in the most cemeterys on the world (not only in
Jewish cemeterys),to avoid frustration.
The people in the office where very helpful and in no time I find all
the information about my Grandmother's grave.
The cemetery is very big ,but I can not said that it was not in good
condition. the most of the pads are cleen , of course a lot of the
tombs are not in good condition and you must have a lot
of money to restore all the cemetery.
What I don't understand is ,why is all the index only on microfilm and
not in a computer database that is open for the public.
