I've sent personal thanks to the three JGenners who were incredibly helpful last
week in tracking down David BERNSTEIN formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, but this is my
official tribute to Harvey Rapoport, who sent me the name and whereabouts of
David's son and daughter (his family actually knew them in Cedar Rapids!); Barbara
Zimmer, who searched for David's family on A......com; and Yehudah ben Shlomo, who
located and sent me the manifest of David and his sister's arrival in the US.

It turns out that the connection between BERNSTEIN and the PAUL family
(my cousins in the Boston area) may have been business, rather than family. But
stay tuned.
