Dear Group,

Is there anyone in the USA who is related to an ABRAHAMSON family,
originally >from Rokiskis, Lithuania? I am trying to find sons and
daughters of my great grandmother's. She was Hannah (or Annie)
Abrahamson, born 1859. She came to London in about 1913, and stayed
with her son, Marks (Menachem Mendel), born 1880, died 1944. Then, in
1916 she went to live in the USA, and stayed with her daughter and
son-in-law, Rachel and Sam NORR, in Brooklyn. I have found the
descendants of this family. I know she had more children and I think
they must have lived in the USA, but I have no idea where, nor do I
know their names.

It seems that Hannah remarried sometime between 1916 (when she is
described as a widow on her ship's manifest) and 1920, when she is
listed on the census for Brooklyn as "Annie LIPOWITZ". Her husband
may have been called Moses. I have not been able to find a marriage
record for her. She died in 1929 and is buried in Old Montefiore

Her first husband was Jacob, and her other son, my grandfather, was
Morris (Yisroel Moshe), born 1885, died 1919. I think her maiden name
was SCHUSTER, and there may be a connection to New Haven, Connecticut.
Neither I, nor the Archive in Lithuania, has been able to find any
information about this family.

Thank you
