For many years I've hit a wall trying to find my great-grandfather's name. I
knewthat my grand father (Hayman/Herman CASPER) and his two brothers came to
the U.S., entering we think via New Orleans. I also knew they came >from Posen.

However, yesterday, I took another shot at the FamilySearch site,and found Hayman
Casper's parents' names - Marens CASPER and Faena SCHOCK.

It shows Hayman Casper's birthplace as Posen, Preuseen

I any one can point me towards records that might give us more information,I'd
appreciate it.
