Peter,
"Amt f. Wg." would stand for "Amt fuer Wiedergutmachung," the
Restitution Office. (Currently, that title appears to be used
for the office in Saarburg only - the one in Berlin is the
"Landesverwaltungsamt".) I'm afraid I can't help with the rest.
Regards,
Mitch
In both cases a "claimant" is listed: "Amt f. Wg. Bln., f. RA Herr, Bln."
Can anyone decipher this for me: I can guess that "Bln." means
"Berlin", but can't imagine what the rest might mean, nor what a
"claimant" in this case might refer to.
And what does the existence of "a card" signify?
Does anyone have any ideas?
