Hello,

I am doing some research on my father-in-law OBM who was a policeman in
Lodz during the 1930's. Family members have reported that the Soviets
put him in jail, where he stayed until he was liberated in 1945. I'm
pretty sure he was never sent to Siberia, so where might he have been
while in prison? Might it have been in Poland? Under whose auspices?

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
