I had a grand-aunt >from Lodz who was called "Manya" by her relatives. I am
trying to find her birth record, but don't know what first name she would be
listed under. The first names in the vital records seem to be Hebrew or
Yiddish. (eg. my grandmother, Manya's sister, was called Lonya by family,
but birth record was listed as "Laji" and marriage record as "Laja.")

My question is, what Hebrew or Yiddish first name or names would be likely
to correspond to "Manya"?
