Need some help please:

I've miss place a 1900 census report for Louis/Eleazar SYNER/SINER/ZINNER
(greatgreatgrandfather). born in 1849 russia, i do not know when he came to
ny, his wife, Elka KATES/AVES, dead in ny 1885

I've been looking on ancestry.com, nothing so far. i make a note *1900
census: 1902 lived at 35 essex street ny.
can i look at the census's by streets?

I still need to look though 1890, 1880, 1870"s census.
other suggestions?
