I just joined the group to help research my husband's German Jewish
family lines. I have been doing genealogy research for 30 years and
consider myself pretty knowledgeable in research here in the US, but
more of a beginner when it comes to German Jewish records.
I live in Santa Barbara CA USA and my native language is English.
I can read some German, and have tried to learn to decipher some old
German schrift but am definitely a beginner there.
I am good at use of the internet for searching purposes, but am not
very tech savvy when it comes to figuring out functional issues.
