In a recent post Steve Orlen wrote about Selig Judda. Recently I was given the names of my gr gr gr grandparents by a cousin and their names were Marx Joseph (Mordecai) Behr and his wife was Ella Juda. .. Prior to this I had never seen the last name of Juda/Judda before.
We conveyed this to Mr. Orlen, but since this post has had so many comments, we will repeat it here.
In Russia, most likely this person would be found as some form of Zelik, IUD(D)A / IUD(D)E, or YUD(D)A / YUD(D)E.
