I just found some MINCHO 'probable relatives' who lived in or near
Stettin, Pomerania, Prussia before leaving for the US in the late
1860s.

My ggrandmother, Sara HIRSCH was born in Massow, Pomerania (nearby),
and, after she came to the US at age 11 in the 1850s, she lived with
Adolf MINCHO and his wife Caroline nee BRUCKHEIMER (>from K=C3=BClsheim,
Baden).

This is the first I know of any Jewish MINCHO family other than the
above. And they lived nearby.

According to Miriam Weiner's Routes to Roots, the record >from Stettin
start in 1874. Has anybody heard of anything before that?
