My great grandfather Alter Zelick (Zelig?) MAISEL arrived on the Astoria in New
York June 8, 1907. His ship manifest says he was sponsored by his brother-in-law
Abram Marestek (?) of W. Lampert ? Co. on Water Street in Passaic, New Jersey. I
believe my great grandfather's sister Neshie (?) was the wife of this man. I am
looking for anyone with information on this family member or his descendants.
AMHOWITZ, MAISEL are other names I am searching. They are >from Belarus (Bobruisk,
Zalush'je?)
