My father and uncle were at the HNOH. My mother's two first cousins were at
the Brooklyn Orphan Asylum. I was able to get a good deal of information
about my father and uncle >from the Jewish Child Care Association of New
York. Their contact information was on the Hebrew National Orphan Home web site
www.kesh.com/hnoh/welcome.html.
I recommended this to my second cousin,but for some reason she did not get
an answer about her father and uncle who were at the BOA. I was able not only
to find the BOA records which were very sparse at the Center for Jewish History
in New York City, but I found them on Ancestry by putting in only the names of
the two boys.
